Born and bred in Limavady, it isn’t surprising that after graduating from Trinity College, Dublin in 1979, Michael returned home to the family practice. Started by his father in the late 1940s, RVVC back in those days was a predominantly farm and equine practice. Fresh from university and full of enthusiasm, Michael began to develop the small animal part of the business and has built it up to what we see today. Michael has a passion for all animals, both big and small. He enjoys the clinical challenge that is faced by large animal vets but also has a special interest in small animal surgery. Spare time is far from frequent but when he does get a chance to take some time off, Michael enjoys spending time with his family and trailing antique auctions.
